Glencoe Elopement

Romantic Glencoe Elopement

Trinity and Evan didn’t want to have their elopement shoot just anywhere – so when I suggested Glencoe, I could tell they were getting excited! Trinity and Evan had their official wedding in their native Australia. Following their registry office wedding, went traveling to Europe and the UK. The plan was to mark their elopement at the end with a photoshoot in the Scottish Highlands.

Glencoe Elopement

We left Glasgow in the morning, heading out West towards Loch Lomond. After a brief stop we carried on to Loch Awe and the ruins of Kilchurn Castle. I love this place with its dramatic castle ruins which would form the perfect backdrop in an Outlander episode.

From Loch Awe we made our way up to Rannoch Moor, said hello to a few deer near the Kingshouse Hotel and then carried on to the majestic Glen Etive, where Skyfall was filmed, and Glencoe. We finished off the day with a cold beer at the Oban Inn.

When I look back at these images, I realise just how lucky I am to live in Scotland, with its beautiful and breathtaking scenery. If you enjoyed reading about Trinity’s and Evans elopement adventure, and if you would like to discuss your wedding plans with me, why don’t you contact me here!
