Jamie’s and Marco’s Italian inspired wedding at Balinakill House must have been one of my favourite weddings last season! Jamie and Marco chose the stunning exclusive use venue on the beautiful Mull of Kintyre, so that they could celebrate with their friends and family for the full weekend.
An Italian inspired wedding at Balinakill House
Jamie and Marco decided to cast aside traditions and arrange their wedding day around their own personalities and what is important to them. Family portraits were done before the wedding ceremony itself. This would give them more time with their guests in the afternoon and more time to enjoy their meal.
The ceremony itself was particularly lovely with several personal touches. Friends of the couple gave live musical performances, and readings. Marco and Jamie had written their own vows which caused both happy tears and laughs. Later on the wedding breakfast was a an informal affair which lasted more than four hours! Bespoke Catering provided a fantastic Italian food experience, all the way to the liqueurs and limoncello served at the very end!
