Barbara and NaKoma decided to have a small, intimate wedding at Cottiers in Glasgow’s West End. They are a very quiet couple who didn’t really fancy an extravagant wedding. Nevertheless they wanted to celebrate their commitment to each other with their closest family and friends.
A Lovely Small Cottiers Wedding
Cottiers with its informal style really was the natural choice for Barbara and Nakoma. They both live in the West End of Glasgow and knew the venue well. The attentive staff at the venue made them feel very welcome and contributed to the warm and cosy atmosphere of the wedding.
The low-key humanist ceremony was followed by a reception with drinks, canapes and then a wedding breakfast with some very touching speeches.
In between the more formal proceedings of the day, I managed to spend a little bit of time with the bride and groom for a lovely little couple shoot in the West End.
The evening was finished by the cutting of the cake (this was made by my friend Edwina from Rosewood Cakes), and plenty of dancing!
