Iona Fyfe – Promo Shoot
In 2017 I have been very lucky to meet a number of Scotlands finest young musical talents, most of whom have either graduated from or are still students at the RCS in Glasgow. It all started with the BBC recording of the St. Andrew’s Day Concert at the RCS, where I also heard Iona Fyfe performing some of her traditional East coast songs and ballads.
A few months later, Iona asked me whether I could help her put together a collection of promo images which could be used for concert posters and flyers, as well as social media marketing. I had some ideas in my mind and suggested to meet in Glasgow’s West End to give the shoot a slightly urban feel.
Iona was so pleased with the results that some of the images have been used for online reviews, including one in Germany, and one image was even used for Iona’s sellout gig at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival!
